Poetry Experiences
I am available for feature performances and speaking opportunities. Or we can custom design a poetry experience together at your venue, café, faith community, yoga studio, house party, fundraising event…any place where human beings gather. I am happy to pair with other feature performers including musicians, and if you want more participation from your audience, we can build in an open mic, writing/reflection exercise, or discussion. In addition to performances, I also organize contemplative poetry experiences that involve elements like meditation and music.
Nonprofit Workshops
Storytelling and Impact- Good storytelling can be hard, which is why many nonprofits still struggle to tell their stories convincingly. In this session, I help connect the dots between the incredible stories held within your organization and the staff tasked with telling them. Towards this goal, I use poetry as the creative leaven that helps bring your team to a more focused, thoughtful space where great stories can emerge.
Team Connections- In this session, we use poetry and storytelling as a means to help your team connect and get to know one another in new, more thoughtful ways. Great for staff and board retreats, bringing new staff onto an existing team, or navigating an organizational rough patch.
Deep Thoughts- Does your team need to do some deep, creative thinking? Maybe you’re strategic planning, designing a new program, or navigating a time of uncertainty. We’ll tap into poetry to help move your team into a more connected and creative space.
